Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have formalized a collaborative effort to enhance research, science, and knowledge exchange by signing a memorandum of understanding. The agreement was sealed between the King Fahd National Library and the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies during discussions in Riyadh.
This partnership aims to facilitate the sharing of scientific and knowledge resources, including the exchange of information and documents. It also envisions reciprocal visits by researchers and specialists from the two nations, fostering a deeper academic and institutional relationship.
In addition to resource sharing, the agreement outlines plans to organize joint seminars, workshops, and conferences. There is also a focus on developing training programs that support research initiatives and promote knowledge-sharing between the two countries.
By deepening institutional cooperation, this memorandum is expected to bolster collaboration in preserving, producing, and providing access to valuable knowledge. The initiative underscores the commitment of both Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to foster a robust educational and research landscape in the region.
